Not Your Average Joe Winery

We only make 250 cases of wine annually and have no plans to expand.

Our wine is for everyone. We welcome all wine enthusiasts, whether you're a newbie, a seasoned wino or a master sommelier. If you don't like wine, we'd love to change your mind. If you think wine is evil, we want to corrupt you. Our wine is for people of all colors, creeds, political affiliations, genders, financial status, any age deemed ok by law, handicaps and sexual orientations. Did we forget anyone? If we did, we certainly didn't mean to.

Rob's a control freak, but only with the wine. Rob crafts 100% of our wine. Unlike many new small startup wineries, we don't buy leftover wine on the bulk market to stretch our quantity or beef up our existing lots. Rob is thoroughly involved in the winemaking process from vine to bottle with meticulous attention to pruning, shoot thinning, pick dates, fermentation, and aging techniques.

We're so tiny, we're proud of it! We only make 250 cases of wine annually and have no plans to expand. We like to maintain a small case production so we can keep a personal relationship with each customer, and to keep it manageable with our day jobs. We don't have a tasting room, either, so we're not open to the public. But we love having visitors at the vineyard if you give us a bit of notice. We're all for sharing our wine, so perhaps a bottle will find its way onto your dinner table. Hint, hint.

We're not in a hurry. Thirsty Pagans will not release a wine before its time, which is why our inaugural release is a 2005 vintage.

We have champagne tastes but live on a beer budget. We don't scrimp on the quality of what goes into our bottles, but we also don't believe in shelling out $100 for a bottle of wine, regardless of what state our economy is in. Our wine is affordable because we believe wine is for everyone, not just for the privileged few. For us, it's not about getting rich or famous; it's about having fun. After all, it's only fermented grape juice!
